I had it adjusted to work perfectly for the way I play
My name is David Minton I am the drummer for a very busy casino variety band the "Red Hot Smokin' Aces". We generally play in Nevada and sometimes in California and Oregon. The band website is

HYPER-BASS A must have item!
Hey man, do you feel like all the young drummers are passing you by because of the hours they can spend practicing double bass? Have you worked and worked and just can't get the lightening fast double foot work? Do you feel like you aren't getting the right response from your e-drums to make the double bass set up comfortable? How about adding the latest thing for electronic drummers. The new Hyper-Bass double trigger products are the solution to a lot of problems.
Hyper-bass makes a great pre-made electronic pedal and if you really like the feel of your favorite pedal, they even make a conversion kit. My first one is a conversion kit for one of my matching DW7000 pedals. It only took me about five minutes to set it up and attached it. A few days later I figured out exactly how I wanted it to feel and with another 5 minutes I had it adjusted to work perfectly for the way I play.
You can use it for your main pedal by inserting a footswitch into the line for the top trigger to turn it off and on, but I decided to use my first Hyper-Bass as a second pedal sitting next to my right foot pedal. This allows me to slide from pedal to Hyper-Bass and back literally between beats if I wish, giving me punchy bass drum licks on call anytime. The more I use it, the more I like it. For solos, it gives you that thunder on the bottom and leaves your left foot free to play the Hi-hats. Gee it's kinda like having three feet. Another great use is those big build up or "popcorn" endings boosting the overall sound of your kit while you are slamming cymbals and rolling across the toms. It's just COOL!
I keep saying my first Hyper-Bass because I'm buying a second one to set next to my HiHat pedal and use for 8th note tamborine and cow bell parts. You know--MORE COW BELL! I just haven't decieded if I'm getting another conversion unit or if I'm going all the way and buy the fabulous pre-made Hyper-Bass Electronic Pedal. My conversion kit was only $79.99 and they sell the pre-made pedal for $174.99, both with free shipping. That's a Great deal!
